Babbletees now accepting Bitcoins!

Posted by Joshua Saathoff on June 30, 2011

We like to stay ahead of the curve, and we realized quickly that many of those people interested in our tees were also interested in BTC. Because of this, we have decided to accept Bitcoins!

For those of you that are not familiar with Bitcoins - check out this video from http://www.weusecoins.com :

To pay with Bitcoins, simply browse/place your order as you normally would on our site. Once you go to checkout, simply select "Bitcoins" as your payment method.

We will calculate your BTC total based on the current USD/BTC exchange rate, and send you a payment address to complete your transaction.

All of our standard store policies regarding returns/refunds/exchanges still apply!

If you have any questions or would simply like to discuss the joys of Bitcoins, feel free to drop us a line!

Yes!! Finally. This is the first shop that doesn’t have TERRIBLY tacky bitcoin t-shirts that you can spend bitcoins. This is a NORMAL store!

Thank you so much. I’ll be buying/spending so much here. The administration has not made a mistake with this decision.

Great to see more merchants accepting Bitcoins. And also great to hear there’s overwhelming response! Bitcoin FTW!!!

For anyone that wants to buy (or sell) Bitcoins, there’s an exchange called TradeHill that I think is a good alternative to Mt.Gox. When you sign up with the link below (using the referral code TH-R1180), you’ll get a 10% discount on the commission fees (and you support an independent game developer ;-) ):

For more info on the game development you’d be supporting, see www.ramtiga.com (I’ll also accept Bitcoin as soon as there’s payments that can be made ;-) ).

Actually – the response has been overwhelming – BTC purchases have been way more then expected.

Who says this isn’t a viable online currency?

Great initiative. BTC will blow the brains of all governments everywhere. Prepare for a new era.
