Yeah - we're for real!

There are actual humans (we're still not totally sure about Kyle) making all of these silly BabbleTees T-shirts!
(New Bio Page up)
Josh Saathoff - Art Director
Josh started out pursuing Fine Art, but the universe led him to Graphic
Design as he found it the perfect way to mass-produce functional and
wearable graphic art. Saathoff, an unrealized country-boy at heart,
returned to the Hinterlands of Illinois to start BabbleTees after
being suffocated in Chicago-land’s claustrophobic vortex of hyper
consumerism.
He is a fanatical garden & landscaper - especially dwarf conifers, ornamental grasses, native herbaceous perennials inspired by the new wave gardening style pioneered by Piet Ouldolf - as well as enjoying Science Fiction, hiking, golf, SimCity 4, camping & anything involving the outdoors and designing exceedingly idiosyncratic, unique t-shirts.
Josh loves playing with asymmetry layouts, visual texture, contrasting forms, and analogous or other advanced, sophisticated (often times silly) color schemes in his quirky t-shirt designs. Josh's Tshirt designs draw highly from Art History, especially mid-20th Century Swiss Graphic Design and International Style, His enigmatic dreams, fascination with infrastructure & industry, all things European, introverted daydream meanderings, and crafty childhood memories influence his signature garment graphics.
He is responsible for running the small, but highly productive Babbletees Art Department and corralling everyone else into a cohesive, highly creative, and somewhat pleasantly dysfunctional company. E-mail him: josh[at]babbletees.com with any questions/comments about our designs or to babble about politics, deep thoughts, tabby cats or the latest esoteric dwarf conifer.
Josh’s favorite BabbleTees are German Food Chain Diagram, Organic Chemistry-beginnings of life, Carbon Cycle, and Vintage Dutch Population Density Map (even though its brightness stops traffic and can be seen from outer space).
Gary Boggio - Production Manager
Gary joined the Babbletees team about two years ago, and has been Printing awesome graphic t-shirts as well as coordinating all aspects of production that go along with the complex graphic tee printing process. Though occasionally we find Gary on the verge of mass-frazzlement, he always remains positive even when faced with huge piles of orders.
“I really enjoy what I do. I prep, print, and ship massive amounts of shirts to people around the world on a daily basis. Some days requiring more Jet Fuel (the highly caffeinated coffee that keeps the whole company running) than others.”
“I've lived in the metropolis of Hennepin all my life. I am married with two wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, having cookouts, bonfires and whatever else comes up. Mainly just spending a lot of my time with my kids.”
“I am a Chicago Bears/Bulls/Whitesox fan. I have a incredible passion for dogs! If I were to actually play the lottery and win some day first thing I would do is buy tons of land and build a huge Dog Rescue. I have one dog(Sandy), a Bearded Dragon (Rex), and have recently taken in a Gray Tree Frog that we have yet to name. I've also recently discovered the addicting world of Xbox 360. Though with two kids it can be hard, I try finding time to play awesome games like Gears of War, the Call of Duty games, and Left 4 Dead 2 just to mention a few. I love killing zombies!”
Feel Free to email Gary: gary[at]babbletees.com if you have any questions about BabbleTees Production or to discuss a mutual love of Zombie slaughtering!
A few of Gary's favorite shirts are Bird Flock, Flying Squirrel, and Cephalopod/Mollusk.
Kyle Saunders - Operations
An art therapist and mental health counselor (that really comes in handy working all the wack-jobs here!) by education, Kyle joined the Babbletees team after deciding to pursue his more creative side. He loves scientific, technical, and sequential illustration and has a deep fascination with the natural world. In his free time, Saunders is quite the armchair entomologist, raising dozens of tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes, and other exotic invertebrates.
Kyle is responsible for managing our warehouse, order fulfillment, customer service, and general office operations. He will be your main contact when corresponding with us via e-mail, telephone or carrier pigeon. E-mail him: kyle[at]babbletees.com with any questions you may have about our shirts, your order, or to babble about his fascinating work with cross-breeding a spider with a zebra.
Kyle's favorite shirts include Arachnid, Dino Evo, and Tree of Life.
